León Plascencia Ñol
León Plascencia Ñol (Ameca, Jalisco, 1968) es poeta, narrador, editor y artista visual. Dirige la Editorial Filo de Caballos. Es cronista de viajes. Fue director de la revista literaria Parque Nandino, de la revista de arquitectura y diseño México Design y de la revista La Zona. Ha sido guionista, articulista, editor de cultura de periódicos. Becario del FONCA en dos periodos, disfrutó de residencias artísticas otorgadas por el Ministerio de Cultura colombiano (2004) y el Instituto de Traducción de Literatura Coreana (2007 y 2012). Entre sus reconocimientos se encuentran el Premio Ciudad y Naturaleza José Emilio Pacheco 2016, el Premio Nacional de Poesía Ramón López Velarde 2016, el Premio Nacional de Cuento Agustín Yáñez 2008, el Premio Nacional de Literatura Gilberto Owen 2005 y el Premio Internacional de Poesía Álvaro Mutis (México-Colombia) 1996.
Realizó con Rocío Cerón y Julián Herbert la antología El decir y el vértigo. Panorama de poesía Hispanoamérica 1965-1979 (2005). Obtuvo el Premio Iberoamericano de Poesía Jaime Sabines para obra publicada 2010 por Satori. Su obra ha sido expuesta en diversos museos y galerías de México. Ha ilustrado libros y revistas. Está traducido parcialmente al francés, inglés, coreano, sueco y portugués. Ha sido miembro del Sistema de Creadores de Arte de México.
León Plascencia Ñol (Ameca, Jalisco, 1968) is a poet, narrator, editor and visual artist. Founding director of the independent publisher Filo de Caballos. He writes travel chronicles. Earlier director of the literary magazine Parque Nandino, as well as of the architecture and design magazine Mexico Design, and La Zona. Twice grant holder of THE National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA). He has participated in artistic residencies, invited by the Colombian Ministry of Culture (2004) and the Korean Institute for Literary Translation (2007 and 2012). Among the prizes he has received are the Prize Ciudad y Naturaleza "José Emilio Pacheco" 2016, the National Poetry Prize "Ramón López Velarde" 2016, the National Short Story Prize "Agustín Yáñez" 2008, the National Literature Prize "Gilberto Owen" 2005, and the International Poetry Prize "Álvaro Mutis" (Mexico-Colombia) 1996.
Along with Rocío Cerón and Julián Herbert, he edited the anthology of Mexican poetry El decir y el vértigo. Panorama de poesía Hispanoamérica 1965-1979 (2005). In 2010, he received the Ibero-American Poetry Prize "Jaime Sabines" for published work for his work Satori. His visual art has been exhibited in different museums and galleries all over Mexico. He also has made illustrations for books and magazines. Some of his literary works have been translated into Corean, English, French, Portuguese and Swedish. Member of the National Creators System in Mexico.
