Raquel Castro nació en 1976 en la Ciudad de México. Ha sido guionista, periodista y escritora; desde pequeña le gusta contar historias, también le gustan los gatos, la música, la comida rica, el humor y los zombis. Ha ganado premios como el Premio Nacional de Periodismo y el Gran Angular de literatura juvenil, que recibió por su novela Ojos llenos de sombra (SM Ediciones, 2012). Otras novelas suyas son Exiliados (Editorial El Arca, 2014), Lejos de casa (Editorial El Arca, 2013) y Dark Doll (Ediciones B, 2014); además ha publicado la antología Festín de muertos (con cuentos de zombis de varios autores mexicanos, publicado por Océano en 2015) y un libro con sus propios cuentos: Pirañas del mundo, ¡uníos! (Colección Abusrdia & Suburbia, 2014). Sus títulos más recientes son Un beso en tu futuro (Alfaguara juvenil, 2017) Cómo escribir tu propia historia (Alfaguara juvenil, 2018), y El club de las niñas fantasma (Alfaguara infantil, 2021). Raquel Castro(Mexico City, 1976) is a screenwriter, journalist and writer. Her favorite pastimes are telling stories, cats, music, food, humor and zombies. She has won prizes such as the Nacional de Periodismo and the Gran Angular de Literatura Juvenil, which she received for her novel Ojos llenos de sombra (SM Ediciones, 2012). She has also written novels such as Exiliados (Editorial El Arca, 2014), Lejos de casa (Editorial El Arca, 2013) and Dark Doll (Ediciones B, 2014). She has also published the anthology Festín de muertos (with tales of zombies by several Mexican authors, Océano, 2015) and a book with her own tales: Pirañas del mundo, ¡uníos! (Colección Absurdia & Suburbia, 2017). El método infalible para ligarte a quien tú quieras
Abigail y Mónica son primas, y desde niñas hacen todo juntas: viven una al lado de la otra, asisten a la misma secundaria, les gusta coordinar su look cuando salen o viajan juntas, y todos los días se envían mensajitos por el cel, pero, invariablemente, Mónica decide por las dos, porque Abi le cuesta mucho trabajo contradecir a su prima y prefiere no molestarse en expresarle lo que realmente quiere y piensa. Están a días de entrar a la prepa y Abigail le pide un consejo a su prima para acercarse al chico que le gusta. Pero Mónica está tan concentrada en sí misma que no ve ni escucha a Abi, así que aprovecha la situación para convertirse en digital influencer y crea el sitio: "Método infalible para ligarte a quien tú quieras". Abi se da cuenta de la manipulación de su prima y decide conocer otros amigos; escuchar ska viejito, tocar la guitarra y salir en bicicleta, cuantas veces quiera junto al chavo que le encanta. Pero en esta transformación se enfrenta a muchas dudas: ¿es suficientemente bonita para conquistar a un chico? ¿Ella debe buscarlo siempre? ¿Será bueno exigirle que la llame, o no? ¿Debe enojarse si la deja en visto? ¿Hay un manual para manejar todo esto? Sólo su experiencia podrá responder a todas estas preguntas.
Abigail and Mónica are cousins, and since they were little they do everything together: they live next to each other, they attend the same high school, they like to coordinate their looks when they go out, and every day they send little messages on the cell phones, but invariably, Mónica decides for the both of them, and Abi has a hard time contradicting her cousin, so she prefers not to bother expressing what she really wants and thinks.
They are only days away from starting high school and Abigail asks her cousin for advice on how to get closer to the boy she likes. But Mónica is so focused on herself that she doesn't see or hear Abi, rather, she takes advantage of the situation to become a digital influencer and creates the site: "Infallible method to flirt with whoever you want". Abi realizes her cousin has been manipulating her and decides it’s time to make new friends; listen to old ska music, play the guitar, and go out on a bicycle, as many times as she wants, with the guy she likes.
However, in this transformation, she faces many doubts: is she pretty enough to conquer a boy? Does she always have to look for him? Will it be good to demand that he call her, or not? Should she get angry if he leaves her on seen? Is there a manual to handle all this? Only experience can answer all these questions.

Nancy ha recibido un augurio: hay un beso en su futuro, y está inquieta porque Jonathan, su mejor amigo desde niños, ha dejado de ser el chico raro y un poco tonto de la infancia. Tiene que aceptar que se ha convertido en un galán muy simpático y... sí, se ha enamorado de él. Ahora tiene delante un futuro en el que no sabe si creer y un secreto en su presente que no se atreve a revelar a nadie.
Pero no es la única en su escuela que guarda un secreto, porque el amor es más complicado de lo que parece, la amistad está en juego y va a necesitar paciencia, buen humor y un poco de suerte para no salir lastimada. Y, claro, para llegar sana y salva al encuentro con aquel beso. Una historia que equilibra los sentimientos, el valor de la amistad y la tolerancia.

El club de las niñas fantasma
¿Habrá algo peor que morirse?¿Qué tal vagar como fantasma en el último lugar donde estuviste con vida, por toda la eternidad, sin posibilidad de salir de ahí? Ése parece ser el triste destino de Isabel, una niña que tiene más de sesenta años atrapada en un edificio de oficinas, y de la que todo mundo huye. Ella ya está resignada a ser la típica “niña que se aparece en las noches” (aunque en realidad la pueden ver a cualquier hora), hasta que un día se topa con Carmen y René, dos amigos (aunque no lo parecen) aficionados a las historias de terror. Y para mayor sorpresa, los tres descubrirán que hay otro edificio cerca de ahí, con otras dos niñas fantasma atrapadas.
